Candidate for
Board Member; Sycamore Community School District

I have been a resident of Blue Ash for the past 12 years, having moved here from Connecticut for a career position. I have managed restaurants and, more recently a private club, for more than 23 years. I was born in New Jersey, educated at Cornell University, married in 1980 to Linda (Rockwell) and I am the father of three children. My oldest daughter is a Sycamore graduate and currently studies at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, OH. She is a music theatre major having been very active in music and theatre at Sycamore as well as local arts organizations. My second child is currently a Junior at Sycamore High School and my third child is an 8th grader at the Junior High School. I have one older sister who lives in North Carolina and my parents, both in their mid-80s, have recently relocated there as well. I am a service oriented person who enjoys providing for others. I became involved in school board activities 4 years ago when there was a growing unrest within our district related to its leadership. I never expected to win that election but I love the work I have been privileged to do these past 4 years. I have the opportunity to do something that has real value to our community and I am finally able to serve at a level of importance. I appreciate the opportunity you have given me and I would enjoy continuing in my service for another 4 years.
