1. How would you implement your top priority?
|
Answer from Linda Keith Radtke:
To increase achievement for all students and to maximize their readiness for next steps, our district must set higher standards, insure challenging and engaging classroom experiences, and provide extra help and enrichment opportunities outside the school day. Parents, students and teachers must communicate with each other and with the community-at-large, regarding student progress. Aligning curriculum to national standards and designing meaningful classroom activities will insure that no child is left behind.
2. How can the School Board work with local government and the community on use of school facilities for after school programs and recreations?
|
Answer from Linda Keith Radtke:
The existing positive relationships between local governments and school board members and administrators must be nurtured. School facilities are used regularly by citizens of all ages for lifelong learning experience ands recreational activities. Our school system ins a valuable asset to all citizens, not just to students enrolled in public schools It is the gauge by which the value of living, working, owning property and doing business in our two communities is measured.
