I first moved to Sunnyvale in 1976, that is over 25 years ago and my wife was born and raised in Sunnyvale as were our three children. In 1978 we purchased our home in Sunnyvale, and we have seen many changes over the years to Sunnyvale. In the last few years the current council has lost its way. It should be "we the people" that tell our council members the direction we wish Sunnyvale to go. Our council should be actively pursuing "we the people" for our wishes and desires for our beloved Sunnyvale. I pledge not to seemingly listen to you and then go my own way as it seems some of the current council is doing. In my past management positions I have found that it is best to get input from my people before making a decisions. I have a wide background of knowledge and skills and I am very good at asking relevant questions so that we can find the solutions. With your help, knowledge and skills I will change the current system of listening and the doing whatever to a system that uses your input and wishes to form decisions for our city and its residents. |
