Steve Adams and his family moved to the City of Riverside in 1958 when his father, a Major in the U.S. Air Force, was stationed at March Air Base.

A product of local schools, he grew up in Riverside and is committed to seeing our city not only grow, but grow intelligently and prosper.

Steve believes that this all begins with Ward 7.

Area Revitalization

• Steve will step up code enforcement efforts to clean up blighted and neglected areas, so families and business owners can be proud of their community.

• He will also work to improve traffic congestion and address dangerous intersections and roads that pose a serious threat to our children's safety.

Public Safety

As a Riverside Police Officer for 15 years, Steve Adams protected our homes and businesses from the City's toughest criminal elements.

During his time with the Riverside Police Department, he served as leader of both the Metro Unit and the SWAT Team.

• Ward 7 has the highest crime rate in our city. Steve Adams is uniquely qualified to help police aggressively go after the troublemakers to suppress crime and make our neighborhoods, schools and parks safe for our families.

• Steve will work to ensure that police and firefighters have the resources they need to address public safety issues, and that residents' concerns are always answered in an efficient and timely manner.

Economic Expansion

Steve Adams has been a successful chief executive of a large company and is now a successful independent businessman.

He has the experience and leadership needed to help Riverside expand its economic base and increase its job market.

• Steve plans to work with local business owners to attract businesses that will help them grow and make them more prosperous, creating jobs and bringing more revenue to our city, to increase services and programs for residents.
