Candidate StatementBy Albert ChangCandidate for Governing Board Member; Rowland Unified School District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
This Candidate Statement will appear in the Sample Ballot books that voters receive from Los Angeles County before the November 4th, 2003 election. As a candidate for the Rowland Unified School District, Board of Education my campaign will focus on: Community, Compassion, and Commitment. Community: As a lifelong Rowland Heights resident, I have seen our community change in unbelievable ways. I believe that it is essential to understand how our community works and how it has developed over the past 25 years. This insight will allow me to bring a different perspective to approaching and ultimately resolving many issues that the district encounters. Compassion: I refuse to accept the excuse of "politics as usual" and you deserve more from your candidates. I promise that I will only campaign on facts, issues, ideas, and policy and will absolutely avoid negative campaigning. Commitment: From K-12 to college, I am proud to be a product of the California public school system. I am committed to public education and I want to ensure that the same quality education I received when I was a student within the Rowland District is readily available to our current students. Please visit my website at http://www.ElectAlbertChang.com for additional information regarding my candidacy. You may email me at Albert@ElectAlbertChang.com or call/fax at 626-854-0248. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon. |
