All of us, even those of us without children, want the very best from our public schools. In these days of limited funding from the state and federal tax dollars. We must insure that spending will be geared for every student to have a quality education. Quality education comes from quality teachers, support staff and having up to date facilities to insure the proper arena for education. Uncertain times as we have here in California have and continues to have a fiscal impact on our schools. This is not a time to cut all programs, but a time to evaluate the programs that do succeed. We must find the best balance between what we want to provide and what we can afford as a district. I will except this challenge and do my very best to insure a quality education for all students in Southern Kern Unified Schools. As a board member I will insist that;
