Retired from Wells Fargo Bank as Vice President and Manager; Employed from 1955 thru 1990. Budget planning,audit and expense control, consumer, business and real estate loan approval, customer relations, and staff development. Completed studies in: Economics, Accounting, Analyzing Financial Statements, Cash Flow Anaylsis, Staff Development and Personnel Mangement. Proficient in computer software programs including: Quick Books, Peachtree Accounting, Continental Billing, Word and Word Perfect, Quattro Pro and Excel. Served on GFCSD board from April 1997 thru Nov 1998 and again from May 2000 thru Dec 2001. Worked with other board members to establish a plan to set aside standby fees. These standby fees would later be identified as a stable source of debt repayment and were instrumental in obtaining a low-interest State funded loan to build the 2nd Treatment Plant and additonal storage tank in 2002. In 1997, Barbara began a project to anaylze water usage and tracked the data on a home computer for two years. This data was used to implement a tiered billing system in July 2000. Active in Grizzly Flats community events to include: Burger Nights, Ladies Luncheon, M & Ms Luncheons, etc. Active in Pioneer Volunteer Fire Department fund raising to include: Semi annual Teas, Crab Banquets, Crafts Fairs, etc. Served for five years as Treasurer of the Grizzly Flats Community Church. Serves as Treasurer for Burger Night Committee Participant of Committee to explore development of Grizzly Flats Community Center. |
