Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Placerville Union School District

I have been a Placerville community resident for the past 25 years. I am married and have 2 children who attend Sierra Accelerated School.

Currently I hold a position on the Board of Trustees and have worked diligently on obtaining many of the Districts goals. I was instrumental in the passing of Measure K last year, making 10 million dollars available to renovate our schools.

My active role in many education committees include the Math Text Book Adoption Committee, the Cost Savings Committee, the Architect Selection Committee, the Contractor Selection Committee, and the Budget Committee for 2003. As an Active member of the Placerville Rotary Club I have served on the Directors Board, Chaired the renovation of the Rotary Park Playground, and served on the Committee for the newly opened Skate Park.

Being locally self employed allows me to be very flexible with my time schedule and to be an active parent at school as well. Being an active member of the Sierra School Parent club I have also served on many school committees, including Co-Chairing the Playground Committee at Sierra.
