I am a 15 year resident of Moorpark, married to Dale, and mother of two with two grandchildren. With strong family ties, I am committed to maintaining the family friendly environment of our city.

I believe the residents of Moorpark share a common goal, to maintain and preserve our beautiful community. As your Planning Commissioner for the past four years, and former Chairperson, I have worked tirelessly to insure we have met the residential and business needs of our great community. I have also worked to insure the availability of affordability of housing for all of our residents.

As a former Chair of the Parks & Recreation Commission, I am dedicated in ensuring sports and recreational opportunities are available for all ages. I worked on the Committee to Save our Parks and implemented a Parks endowment program. As our City moves closer to build-out, it is important we complete the next phase of Arroyo Vista Community Park, to engourage growth of not only our youth programs, but our adult sports programs as well. It is also important we encourage the growth of safe bike, and hiking trails, connecting Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks, to Moorpark.

I am the daughter and wife of law enforcement officers. I understand the importance of a safe and well protected environment. I feel fortunate to live in a city that is among the safest cities in the nation.

I am committed to protecting our valued open space and an advocate for smart growth strategies to prevent sprawl as our city grows.

As a business executive, I understand the need for a no-nonsense approach to manage the City's business. As a fiscal conservative you can count on me to protect our hard-earned tax dollars. I strongly believe our long-term fiscal growth depends upon our ability to develop strengthen, and promote business in Moorpark. We need to encourage business growth for our large, medium and small business. By creating a healthy business environment, we encourage job opportunites for our residents, and generate well needed revenue. I have over 25 years of experience in Corporate America. Having been your City Commissioner for 6 yeears, I have a proven track record of leadership and effectiveness.

I would sincerely appreciate your vote.
