The Top Three Issues Facing YCCD and Columbia College
The three top issues facing YCCD are 1)the need to provide greater access to more students, 2)the need to provide facilities to accommodate growth, and 3) the need to work with local business and political leaders to anticipate the workforce needs of new businesses that might be attracted to the area and develop that future workforce.
Why I'm Running For Area 1 Trustee for YCCD
Some of the reasons that I want to remain on the Board now are the same as when I first got involved in 1997 (and indeed the same as when I first got involved with a K-8 Board in 1985). Other reasons have to do with the positive experiences I have had with faculty, staff and my fellow Trustees since I became involved. I have more to give back to my community now.
