A COMMITMENT TO OUR FUTURE

Doris Wallace, Mother, School Board Member, Social Worker, Mentor, Advocate for children, Executive Board Member San Bernardino California School Board Association Doris' Top Priorities:

Doris Wallace is working to bring discipline back into the classroom so that teachers can teach and students can learn.

  • Reducing class size so teachers can teach instead of just practicing crowd control

  • Improving classroom management training for teachers

  • Securing more funding for after school programs that allow students to continue learning after hours and provide an alternative to gangs, drugs, and crime

  • Providing alternative schools for disruptive students But first, we have to give them the resources. Doris supports more funding for improving security. She also believes local schools should have the ability to decide which security measures work best for their school, such as:

  • Metal detectors
  • Law enforcement personnel on campus
  • Anti-gang and anti-drug education
  • Behavior contract/counseling

Doris Wallace has worked diligently to improve our schools for over a decade. As a member of the Cucamonga school board, Doris Wallace lobbied and protested our legislators in Sacramento to prevent the cutting of after school programs and the unwarranted laying off of teachers.

"We must provide affordable health care for all."

"Our Senior Citizens and Disabled Veterans need fair representation, low-cost prescription drugs and healthcare benefits, increased wheelchair accessibility, & sustainable senior communities."
