Candidate StatementBy Brenda ManosCandidate for Board Member; City of Santa Rosa High School District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
My qualifications as presented in the Voter's PamphletIt is my desire to make education the highest priority in our schools. I believe in a governing body that is solely dedicated to the students of our district and not to its own agenda. I feel that my diverse and extensive experience as both a parent and volunteer in the Santa Rosa City School District will benefit this board. As a retired nurse, mother of 4 and a grandmother of 12, I am definitely qualified for this position. I believe that I have a unique yet open-minded attitude and this, combined with my commitment to the education and welfare of our children, will be a positive influence in our schools and community. For the past 13 years, I have been a member, secretary and President of the Parent Teacher Club of the elementary, middle and high schools. I have served as a member of numerous boards and committees as well as having been a tutor and a volleyball coach. My life is dedicated to the future of our children, and I am looking forward to serving them and you as a member of the Santa Rosa City Schools Board. Thank you for your support. |
