My qualifications as presented in the Voter's PamphletI am running for the Rohnert Park City council because I can help restore fiscal responsibility to city government. I will work to create a better business climate and support maintaining and improving the city's many facilities and infrastructure. I was the City of Rohnert Park's Finance Director and City Treasurer from May 1985 until my retirement in June 2000. Because of this experience, I am very familiar with the operation of the city and can immediately function effectively as a member of the City Council. After my retirement, I obtained my CPA license and currently own a CPA practice on Southwest Boulevard. I have been a resident of Rohnert Park since 1983 with my wife and two daughters. I have considerable experience in being a member of a governing body. Locally I have served on the following boards: Rohnert Park Housing Financing Authority, Redwood Empire Municipal Insurance Fund, Ridgewood Homeowners' Association, St. Elizabeth Seton Parish Council, Parks and Recreation Commission Golf Course Advisory Committee and Mountain Shadows Men's Golf Club. I would be honored to represent the citizens of this city as an independent and experience voice for fiscal responsibility. I would appreciate your vote. Thank you. |
