Candidate for
City Clerk; City of Belmont

Lived in Belmont for 22 years. Graduated from Carlmont High School and College of San Mateo, where I earned an AA degree in Liberal Studies in 1998. I transfered to San Francisco State University and graduated in 2001 with BA in Liberal Studies. I am presently taking more educational class at the College of San Mateo in Building Inspection, so I can better understand most of the building code laws

I am currently working at a general contractors office where I put together bid packages which include pre-qualifications of my company for certain projects and the main bid package for the project. Once rewarded a project, I write the contracts for each subcontractor. This position involves a lot of legal obligations to the subcontractor in compliance with local, state and federal laws. I also have a couple of years of work experince at the City of Belmont Attorney's law firm. At this position, I learned the importance of local ordiances and how they impact the citizen of this city. Finally I do have first hand experince working for the City of Belmont, for three + years, in the Park and Recreation and as the City Clerk's courier.

I feel I have the strongest background off all the candidates with my education, and my work experince for this position.
