JAMES (JIM) TUCKER Age: 58

Occupation: Businessman/ Incumbent

Education and Qualifications:

B.A. San Francisco State University; M.P.A. Golden Gate University

The past four years as your Harbor Commissioner have been both productive and rewarding for our community.

The policy of allowing fish sales from our fishing fleet directly to the public continues. Many projects have been completed at Pillar Point Harbor including dock repairs, a new fish dock and expanding our search and rescue capabilities. The boatyard has been repaired and reopened as well as repairs to the small boat launch ramp area. These are just a few of our recent accomplishments.

Oyster Point Marina now has a plan that will allow dining cruise boats to operate from the docks. We have also completed the Bay Trail/Windsurf Launch Ramp and have been designated first priority for the new ferryboat service by the State Water Transit Authority.

We are continuing our strong financial and fiscal management and are nearing completion of our debt restructuring with the Department Of Boating and Waterways. It has been my pleasure to serve San Mateo County these past four years and I ask you for the opportunity to continue the work that has been started by re-electing me to another term as your Harbor Commissioner.

Thank you.

/s/ James J. Tucker
