My candidacy is based on three words: God is angry. When elementary students were encouraged to dance to African gods, God knew. When our children were asked to demonstrate prayer to Allah on their hands and knees, God was there. When an English teacher claimed to have psychic powers and had our children participate in clairvoyance, God watched. And when children are taught homosexuality as an option under the guise of "tolerance", God's wrath draws near. There is so much more at stake here than we realize. As history proves, our choices concerning our children have monumental consequences.

When I submitted my name as candidate for school board, I knew I would face intense opposition, especially from liberals. A recent cartoon about me in a local paper is mild to the opposition I expect. One of my opponents asked if I would withdraw because of the mocking I've received. My answer? No way. I don't care if I'm mocked, I care about God's truth. When I focus on God and His leading, everything falls into place. He really does provide a peace beyond all understanding.

My website, <--removed by request of candidate-->, has received national media attention exposing Antichrist curriculum and bias in the Houghton Mifflin social studies 7th grade textbook. After almost a year, California has announced pursuit of different textbooks. Two weeks after California's announcement, news reported Houghton Mifflin is to be sold, in pieces. (articles at website) All glory to God.

This isn't my first "soapbox" as the cartoon claimed, but my third. My first involved a city council woman in the small mountain town that I came from. She wanted to remove all Parks and Rec funding for children. It was almost a done deal and few knew it was happening until I stepped in. Today, Parks and Rec remains while the city council woman is no longer in office.

My second "soapbox" involved the international voice chatroom "Paltalk". When I signed on, a large group of atheists made sport of taking over the religious section and opening room titles describing Christ profanely. Christians were infuriated and it became very ugly. I began a protest to Paltalk. The atheists threatened lawsuits through the ACLU while I brought the Attorney General to the table. The FBI was involved only because of the many death threats I received. Months later, Paltalk finally changed their policy. I rarely visit any more but check in from time to time and am so blessed to find so many coming to Christ through a protected site in the new "Christian" section.

Opposing Houghton Mifflin publishers is actually my third "soapbox" and God has blessed all of them with success.

Public appeals? Campaign funds? Signs? Not from me. I am simply offering to fight to restore traditional family values in public schools. It seems others are focusing on funding. My standpoint is: What we teach is more important than how much we pay to have it taught. If the curriculum was not so loaded with Antichrist philosophy, we would not be experiencing this mass exodus of students, resulting in loss of categorical funds, which constitute an average of 40% of the school budget.

This year San Luis Obispo has a choice and all of heaven is watching. Not because of me. It's not about me at all. It's about choice. To God, it always has been.
