Candidate for
Board Member; Tracy Joint Union High School District; 4 Year Term

I was raised in Tracy, graduating from Senior Elementary, now known as Clover Middle School, and in 1971 from Tracy High. I attended San Joaquin Delta College.

My wife, Shirley, and I were married in Tracy and have 3 grown children all born here.

I started my business in Tracy 25 years ago. I am involved in financial services working with clients on their retirement planning. Many of my clients are teachers and employees of school districts in Modesto and Stockton. Many of my clients are my resource of knowledge in public education. My "kitchen cabinet" if you will. Education in the world today is so complex, it is extremely difficult to know all aspects. My strength as a board member comes from financial experience in business and government experience as a representative of all the citizens of San Joaquin County on LAFCo, a county commission created by the state legislature. My access to education experience and knowledge from objective sources untainted by an agenda for our school district, has and will continue to guide me in decisions in areas that I have less familiarity.
