WHO I am and WHAT I can do for YOU!!!

During my first term, SUSD renewed its focus on creating a safe, stable learning environment for every child in the district. In fact, our district led San Joaquin County in student achievement level attainment, improving every year.

We have opened 3 new schools and the first in-district Charter School in order to reduce class sizes, increase educational opportunities, and meet the needs of our ever-expanding student population. We have also improved financial benefits and school facilities which have helped the district attract a quality, motivated workforce.

Stockton needs a well-educated workforce if we are to attract new employers to our community. Together we can continue to make SUSD the place where children prepare for success. Everyone benefits if the right things happen in SUSD.

With your support, I will continue to work on my priorities to maximize student safety, to cut wasteful spending, and improve district test scores because an excellent education will help our children become winners in tomorrow's world.
