Candidate for Mayor; City of La Mesa

This information is provided by the candidate
I support economic development in the City of La Mesa that will improve the quality of life in our community.
The residents of La Mesa rely on the the leadership of the City Council to maintain a balance between residential, commercial and industrial uses. I am committed to maintaining that balance and as Mayor, I will work regionally to enhance our quality of life.

I will:

· ensure that as the City looks at methods to meet the needs of an increasing population, solutions are developed that will retain the character of the La Mesa community

· look at ways to attract new businesses that will enhance our community

· support activities which increase the customer base for our existing businesses

· work with surrounding cities and the County to seek ways to maintain and improve the economy of our City and region
