Political Philosophy for Ed Voss

I am running for City Council because I want to improve our neighborhoods and the quality of life for our residents. I have lived in this community for over 20 years, raised a family, and built a successful business. Our community needs experienced and strong leadership at City Hall. I am the only candidate in this race with the unique combination of experience and leadership that includes being the past president of my neighborhood association, a founding board member of the Franklin-McKinley Education Foundation, known as the Fair Exchange, where we help our kids in Franklin-McKinley schools and surrounding neighborhoods, serving as a planning commissioner, and a small business owner. I have the experience and local knowledge to improve our community. I will ensure we receive our fair share of city services and I will work with our residents to improve our neighborhoods. My goals are to increase neighborhood services, stop speeding cars, improve education, get our a new branch library and Fire Station built, improve neighborhood parks, ensure police and fire departments are fully staffed and redevelop our Monterey Highway Corridor. I ask for your vote on November 5th, and I look forward to talking to you personally about the important challenges and issues that face District 7, my ideas on how to improve our community, and my experience. Please call me at 408-224-8677 or email me at ejv@vossmedia.com if you have any questions or would like to discuss an issue. |
