Too many of our students are crossing Highway 101 dangerously into Santa Teresa to Gavilan College. I, myself crossed Highway 101 for two years dangerously. Lets put a stop to THIS.As more houses are built and growth continues to go west, Highway 101 between Gilroy and Salinas becomes very crowded. Our students are forced to cross Highway 101 into Santa Teresa with big rigs passing at 80 or 90 miles per hour. If for some unknown reason while passing the highway, the student's car stalls, guess what would happen to the student. And for this reason, we must do something. The time has come that we act now and support a Bypass of Highway 25 into Santa Teresa Blvd. I support a bypass of Highway 25 and you should too. Vote for De La Cruz for Gavilan College Board of trustees, Area 3. Thank you for your support. Vote on November 5th, 2002. |
