• Received Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics Grant for research,
• Received California Space Institute Grant for research,
• 10 years as Director of Research and Development in the commercial software industry,
• 8 years as information technology manager and GIS coordinator for county government,
• 12 years teaching technology classes in the U.S. and Europe,

• "Outstanding Mineralogy and Crystallography Student" awarded by SBCC
