As much as we may lament, Lompoc is no longer a Small Town.
Lompoc is no longer a small town. As much as we may lament, this community is now a city. If we are to preserve the essence of the past, we must embrace our future. That future demands leadership. Cuthbert has lived and worked in large cities and in small towns, "...I have seen places like Simi Valley and Oxnard destroyed by uncontrolled growth. My hometown of Santa Ynez is unrecognizable from its not so long ago past. Only with well planed and appropriate growth can Lompoc continue to be the unique community that it is."
