Candidate for
Board Member; Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District; Division 7

I am a 62 year old former Fire Captain with the American River Fire District. Born in Des Moines, Ia and came to California in 1942. Attended school in Long Beach and Sacramento, graduating from Christian Brothers High in 1957. Seved 6 years in the Air Force Reserve after playing two years of minor league professional baseball.

I started work with the old Carmichael Fire Dist. in 1965 and worked up through the ranks to retire from the American River Fire Dist. as a Captain in 1994.

I was elected to the Board of the old American River Fire Dist. in 1998, and then in the year 2000, I was elected for a two year term to the new Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.
