End the current contract with the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriff
We currently spend about 60% of our general fund on public safety. That number continues to rise by a half million dollars every year. By establishing our own police department we can control the costs without compromising your safety. Our officers have done a great job, but the current administration is unwilling to negotiate with Citrus Heights to keep the cost of our contract from spiraling out of control.
