GrowthBy Jon L. (Winningham) WinninghamCandidate for Council Member; City of Calimesa | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
We need to have responsible growth and make sure developers pay their share of needed infrastructure improvments.IS THIS WHAT WE WANT FOR CALIMESA? Sprawl means more traffic congestion, more crime, over-crowded and failing schools, strain on our water resources, and a host of environmental problems, which threaten our quality of life. When Calimesa adopted its General Plan in 1994, the number one goal listed by the residents was keeping the rural atmosphere of Calimesa. This is a beautiful community and we need to protect it. PLEASE DON'T LET THE DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY CONTROL OUR CITY COUNCIL. It is important we keep our quality of life. I have worked hard for you and will continue to represent your interest, not the developer's interests. I will make sure developers have a minimal impact on the community so we can continue to enjoy the lifestyle we all moved here for. I will represent YOUR interests, not the developer's.
