Community Involvement

By Barbara Hanna

Candidate for Council Member; City of Banning; Unexpired Short Term

This information is provided by the candidate
The residents need to be respectfully heard by the City Council and City Staff. Experience how this can happen (September 28, October 12, and October 26th) at free community meetings to discuss the "Growth and Water -- Banning's challenges and opportunities for the future."
Wouldn't it be great if voters could voice their opinions and their preferred vision of the future, not just during a campaign, but as an on-going activity?

My vision of leadership is to invite all persons and provide a forum for people to be heard by their City Council and City Staff. As your council member, I will assure all residents have the opportunity to be heard, and moreover that their opinions are weighted and considered by their City Council in the decision-making process.

To demonstrate the importance of you input, I am offering three Saturday opportunities during the campaign (September 28, October 12, and October 26) for residents to come together and consider the issues of growth and water -- Banning's challenges and opportunities for the future.
