"PERFORMANCE, not Promises" continues to be my motto.

Palm Desert is still #1 in financial stability, community commitment, and high quality of life issues.

As Councilmember and Mayor for several years, we have seen many challenges, but we have also seen many successes. I embrace the philosophy that the only way to ensure success is to determine what you want to accomplish, have a plan to accomplish you goal, and put your energy in that direction. Achieving measurable goals for the people we serve is our reward for the time commitment it takes to keep Palm Desert in the forefront of communities.

I have been honored to serve as Chairman of many committees including the Riverside County Advisory Committee to Children and Families First Commission (appointed by Supervisor Roy Wilson), the Coachella Valley Animal Campus securing a new facility for animals in need, the Senior Inspiration Awards, the Athena Award for our business community, the Palm Springs Desert Resort Visitors Authority, the YMCA Child Care Fund Drive, and the General Plan Advisory Committee (updating Palm Desert's General Plan).

Thank you for your confidence and trust. Palm Desert will continue to be my #1 priority.
