- I served four years as one of five Board Members of the Crestline-Lake Arrowhead Water Agency, which is one of the 27 State Water Contractors.
- The Coachella Valley Water District is also a State Water Contractor which is the source of imported water for both agencies.
- I am a Professional Engineer with over 40 years in the water supply, water quality and wastewater fields.
- I taught night courses in the above fields to mostly water district operators at a community college and at water district offices.
Priorities:
- If elected, I plan to put emphasis in District planning on municipal water supply and water quality, because growth will be in that area.
- I believe that high quality groundwater should be used for municipal supply and agricultural use switch to Colorado River water wherever feasible.
- The price of water is known as the best means of water conservation. A tiered water rate structure is a must, large water users pay their fair share.
