Water Quality and Ocean ContaminationBy Don HansenCandidate for Council Member; City of Huntington Beach | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
We must protect our number one asset - our beaches. However, this is not Huntington Beach's sole responsibility. Our beaches and the Pacific Ocean are the landmarks that make Surf City such a wonderful place. Don will work to make sure that our beaches are kept clean and safe. He believes we should continue to collaborate with agencies and cities in our surrounding areas to eliminate urban runoff and continue to aggressively pursue those contributing to the problem. There has been recent progress, but we must keep working to ensure this valuable asset is protected for today and the years to come. |
