Candidate Statement for Grace P. Epperson Midway City Sanitary District, Treasurer, MCSD Board. I am seeking your support for my re-election as Director for Midway City Sanitary District. I will work to maintain quality customer service and sound financial reserves. Midway City has the lowest service fees of the 31 Cities and Districts in the County. Lived in Westminster for 40 years and have been active in schools, church, and the community during this time. Retired after 24 years as an Instructional Aide with the Westminster School District. Midway City Sanitary District accomplishments: We reduced staff from 55 to 21 employees with no loss in service ( annual savings $1,000,000.) Implemented a Geographic Information System Program. Established a school outreach program to promote recycling. Implemented a change in bulky-item service to residents to accept more than two items per month. Continued to meet and implement State mandated AB-939 recycling . I feel I have worked to serve you well during my term of office, I always vote keeping you, the taxpayers, in mind.
