I am proud to have been a part of significant changes created in the past four years and feel that I remain qualified to expand upon these acheivements.
Increase the number of hospital beds in the Antelope Valley.

SAVE HIGH DESERT HOSPITAL!

Decrease Emergency Room waiting time and increase patient flow through the admissions system.

Continue to make AV Hospital a great place to work by addressing employees' needs for the best salary and benefit programs available.

Continue to address the needs of our convalescent population.

Work with the City of Palmdale and their partner, Universal Health Services, to bring a full service hospital to the South Valley.

Work with area High Schools and with Antelope Valley College to recommend nursing as a rewarding career and to continue to make financial assistance available. Continue to explore every avenue to obtain additional trained nursing personnel (both RN and LVN) for our Valley hospitals.

Increase our recruiting efforts for other difficult-to-fill hospital staff positions.

Continue our efforts to entice qualified physicians to the Antelope Valley to alleviate the critical shortages in some specialties.

Disprove rumors that any services at AVH are in threat of closure. To continue our support for the NICU and Mental Health Units.

Increase staffing and hours of operation at the existing clinics in Palmdale, Littlerock and Lake Los Angeles.
