Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Linda White

Candidate for
Supervisor; County of Kern; Supervisorial District 2

This information is provided by the candidate

Kern County's second district has the unique distinction of offering the most land mass with the most diverse terrain of the entire county. From metropolitan Bakersfield, the mountain communities of Caliente, Keene, Twin Oaks, Bear Valley Springs and Tehachapi to our precious desert areas of Mojave, Edwards, California City, Rosamond and Boron. This is the gem of Kern County.

While working for State Senators Don Rogers and Phil Wyman constituent services became a way of life for me; it was second nature. It was not unusual for me to go to a constituent's home, out of concern. I know that with my 13 years experience in State and local government, I will give it my all to provide service above and beyond anyone's expecations.

As your next supervisor, I will create TEAM Accessible, a program which will allow my staff and I to bring balanced representation to all areas of the second district, not jost to one side of the Tehachapi Mountains or the other.

As a public official, your sole responsibility is to ensure public safety and infrastructure within the community while overseeing a sensible and responsible budget.
