I'm voting for Dex Anderson because he asks the questions others don't ask and because he deeply believes government should be conducted in the open, and not behind closed doors. He believes in rational dialogue and listens to the ideas of others with courtesy and respect. Dex believes the City Council is responsible to the people of Arcata, and not only to themselves. Dex offers a voice and attitude that is sorely missing on the Council.

Dex's unique ability to think outside the box of conventional politicking and willingness to listen to the will of the people make him the outstanding candidate in this race.
