I strongly believe that the aim of public education should be to develop students who are thoughtful, curious, creative and emotionally alive individuals willing to try to solve the problems they face in their world in an informed and socially conscious manner. If students can think, relate to their fellow citizens, appreciate the beauty created by both human beings and nature, they then have a chance for happiness and worthiness which are attributes of an educated, healthy society. |
