Voter pamphlet statement of candidate for directoryBy Justin MastersCandidate for Director; El Dorado Hills Community Services District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Statement of candidate - as it appears in the voter pamphlet .I've been a resident of El Dorado Hills for 5.5 years and active in community events before even closing on my home. I have worked with other residents of this community since 1998 in attempting to restore and re-open Bertelsen Community Pool - now under CSD review for re-opening as a park containing a water feature, also as an improvement committee member in Park Village. I have worked for 5 years as a volunteer at Brooks Elementary School as a chaperone for student trips, guest instructor for engineering-based instruction, volunteer worker and member of the Technology Committee. I have attended many CSD meetings as an interested citizen, having run before for a EDH CSD board position. I take great pride in educating the public on areas of government, as I beleive citizens ought to be active participants. I believe that changes are overdue in some areas of CSD oversight, and as a resident who lives in a yellow house, I believe that some of the national exposure we have received is a result of overly intrusive and inconsistent interpretation of CC&R rules. I intend to make changes here! Please support me in this effort! email: vote4justin@innercite.com |
