During the next four years as your Councilmember, I will work vigorously to accomplish the following:

1. Open and fair representation of all Pleasant Hill residents.

2. Improved communications between the City Council and residents, the Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District, the School District, and the County.

3. Improved traffic, safety, and public services.

4. A flood control basin on the old Oak Park Elementary School site with recreational amenities.

5. Open, publicly accessible government.

6. A modern state-of-art library facility in Pleasant Hill that meets the current and future needs of our community, including expanded library hours and services.

7. Revitalization of the Contra Costa Shopping Center with neighborhood friendly businesses, sensible housing, and recreational amenities.

8. A new Senior Center in Pleasant Hill.

9. The upgrading and beautification of Contra Costa Boulevard, including the Gregory Village Shopping Center.

10. Improvements in the new Downtown, such as more parking and the addition of public art projects.
