Joel Golub has been a full time Superior and Municipal Court Commissioner for nine years and has judged over 2,000 criminal and civil cases.

He has a solid record:

Golub punishes convicted criminals to the full extent of the law.

Swift, efficient and fair trials are the standard in his courtroom.

Respect and courtesy are the way he treats victims of crime, jurors, witnesses, litigants.

Golub opposes and prevents wasteful lawsuits and delaying tactics.

Joel Golub is already making a difference on critical issues facing our Courts:

REDUCING JUVENILE CRIME Created a Juvenile Diversion Program. Speaking at high schools about the consequences of drug and alcohol use.

ACHIEVING AN EFFECTIVE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM Established a Domestic Violence/ Elder Abuse Court. Coordinating liaison meetings with District Attorney's Office and law enforcement.

MAKING COURTS MORE ACCESSIBLE Set up Small Claims Mediation Program in 2001.
