I pledge to attend all meetings, listen to all viewpoints, and make fair and realistic decisions.

I am an independent voice and will not serve as the vehicle for any special interest group. I am neither ideological nor dogmatic, and will rely on the principles that have always guided me: fairness, open-mindedness and honesty.

I am particularly proud of my work in the neighborhood in which I live and my leadership as a 10-year member of the Louden Nelson Community Center Advisory Committee, where I was instrumental in cleaning up Laurel Park, adjacent to the Center, thus saving the Park and Center from drug dealing and violence.
