Dear Neighbor: For the last 7 years, I have had the privilege and honor of working for you at City Hall as a top aide to Councilman John Diquisto. Due to term limits, John Diquisto cannot run for City Council again. I'm very excited about the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience as your elected representative on the City Council to work for you and our neighbors. My goals include: ·The best trained police and fire departments that respond quickly to emergency calls ·Clean and safe neighborhood parks ·A new neighborhood library ·Better traffic calming measures to keep neighborhood streets safe and reduce commuter traffic ·Improved local schools and increased student performance ·Expanded senior programs and youth after-school activities As we approach the March election, I look forward to meeting you and your neighbors to discuss the issues of importance on your block and in our city, and my ideas on how to preserve and improve District 9 neighborhoods. Sincerely, Chris Hemingway PS - We have solved many problems these past 7 years, but many issues still need attention and solutions in District 9 neighborhoods. I want to use my City Hall experience to improve our community and our quality of life. |
