It's Time for a New Direction for Change in the Sheriff's Department

By Roque Flores "Rocky" Ugale

Candidate for Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator; County of Monterey

This information is provided by the candidate
As the only candidate from outside the Sheriff's Department, I bring the leadership needed for change.
I bring to the office Sheriff of Monterey County 30 years of:

  • Proven experience
  • Proven leadership
  • Proven motivation

It's Time for a New Direction!

"I have a PLAN, not an AGENDA."

As the only candidate from outside the Sheriff's Department, I bring the leadership needed to:

  • Immediately fill all open deputy positions with the help of state funding and grants.
  • Retain deputies by providing career development skills.
  • Implement an improved gang unit to take the bite out of crime.
  • Improve morale which will better serve our residents.

My experience working with all county law enforcement agencies, local government agencies and the Chief Administrator Sally Reed gives me the edge in experience that will benefit the office of Sheriff and help the department to better serve Monterey County residents.
