I am a retired Veteran having served 23 years in the armed forces of the United States. I served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was awarded the Distinquist Flying Cross, 15 Air Medals, Meritorious Service Medal, Cross of Gallantry W/Crossed Palms,Marine Corp & Air Force Presidential Citations, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign W/4 Service Stars. I retired from the Public Sector in 1992 and have owned a marketing Company and a travel service before retiring again in 2000. I have been politically active and have been involved in the Chamber of Commerce for the past three years in Kern County.
