Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Jean M Brazeal

Candidate for
Board Member; Southern Kern Unified School District

This information is provided by the candidate

Through our schools, we build our future. For our children to succeed in life, they must be educated. The schools need to be a place where the teachers are comfortable teaching and students are excited about learning.

It is the responsibility of the school board to insure that the schools are run properly, the money is spent wisely, and we have the best curriculum materials available for our teachers. The key to achieving this is open communication, being accessible to all and visiting the school sites regularly.

I have four children in school and have a vested interest in the school system. I a proud that I have been honored for my volunteer services numerous times by our school district. Education is a partnership between the parents and the schools and I will continue to volunteer the hours needed for this district.
I beleive there has to be a good educational experience with open communication throughout the district for the district to run properly.
