After a lengthy investigation into allegations of corruption in El Dorado County government, Citizens for Law and Order decided to endorse Jennifer Nelson for Superior Court Judge Office 6.

Citizens for Law and Order is an independent organization that reviews and endorses judicial candidates across California. The organization formed in 1970 and was instrumental in removing Rose Bird from the California Supreme Court after her refusal to enforce laws designed to protect the public from criminals.

The endorsement panel includes representatives from Mothers Against Drunk Driving, survivors of violent felonies, and correctional and peace officers.

A formal endorsement letter is being prepared and will be made available on line as soon as possible.
