Political Philosophy for Frank J Pinski
Candidate for |
I believe that the Norwood City Schools should provide a challenging and nurturing environment for students and staff with the goal of developing engaged, motivated, and high-achieving learners working towards clear goals with high expectations. To accomplish this aim, the schools should apply the current best educational practices in instruction, curriculum, and assessment and engage in meaningful, interactive communication with families and the community. We should strive to allow students to develop into adults who understand the world around us, the history of civilization, and the beauty of literature and the arts while developing a set of values including honesty and integrity, a respect for self and others, a true sense of compassion, and into adults who are responsible for one's actions and appreciate a diverse society. |
