Answer from Jay Groenke:
I am the only candidate with children in Madeira's elementary and middle schools. I will monitor the daily experiences of my children and talk frequently with a broad base of Madeira citizens. I will encourage more frequent surveys to seek your input and opinions about your schools. I am the only candidate who has broad experience with state legislators, and will seek to inform Madeira taxpayers about crucial issues affecting our children and our taxes.
Answer from Pat F. Gentile:
My three priorities are intertwined and one shouldn't focus on a specific area in isolation at the expense of the others. For the Madeira School District to keep it's highly recognized state standing, and remain committed to excellence, we must continue working our current objectives. Each objective has specific goals, strategies, and measures to stay on task. In addition, we live with a state funding process that has been ruled unconstitutional by the courts. We will continue to work our legislative (funding) issue at the State level by banding together with other local Boards of Education in our region, in particular, the State's constant overlay of underfunded mandates.

teachers and administrators who will keep Madeira among the
