Responsible Citizens Vote?

These word images should be used for every candidate that seeks to be elected to our City Council in Ventura.

Sadly, I have to say, to the voters, this is not the case especially this year.

A Sgt. of the Ventura Police Department, presently promoted by the City as the top ranking officer of Ventura, is on "tape" committing criminality.

On June 4, 2001, after I received full details from the City Clerk, I appeared before our City Council to present "this criminality" within the meaning of our laws.

I believe you have a "right" to hear your top ranked officer and that I have a "right" to present "this criminality" before our City Council. You were denied that "right" and I was denied the "right" to present it.

If good government is everyone's business, we just experienced that "bad government is no one's business."

I ask you, the voters, this year to make voting your own personal business. For this year the only "check and balance" we have for "the good" or "the bad" is the ballot box come November 6th., 2001.
