Local native
Born in Modesto July 7, 1940. Raised in the Modesto area both in residential and dairy farm background. Have worked in the agriculture field(grapes, peaches, almonds , walnuts, dairy operations and hay operations) Graduated Ceres High in 1958. Attended MJC with a agriculture major for 2 1/2 years and continued education up until I retired from MID. I Worked in a local garage as a mechanic until I started with MID in 1964. I started as a meter reader then transferred to the line crews and worked up to Journeyman Lineman. I made linecrew foreman, then transferred to Trouble department Superintendent. I retired in 1996 as Line Maintenance Manager.
My wife Marilyn and I have lived at 1221 College court for 34 years and raised our two daughters here. We are members of the Old Fisherman's camper club and like to travel. Our two daughters are still a large part of our lives. I enjoy fishing especially with my youngest grandson age 9. We attend church at Big Valley and usually attend Saturday evening service. I enjoy gardening and sharing the harvest with friends and neighbors.
