Like other cities in San Mateo County, Belmont struggles with traffic and housing problems.The negative impact of our traffic problems and the availability of workforce housing are not limited to Belmont. That is why they must be solved regionally. In order for Belmont's voice to be heard and its needs considered, we must send strong, respected representation to the regional bodies that make the decisions that we must live with - whether we like them or not. We must be prepared to work hard to solve these problems because they won't be solved quickly or easily. I will be open to your input, welcome your ideas and work had to protect Belmont's interests to regional government. |
