I was born 42 years ago in Oakland, CA. I first lived in the East Bay town of Pinole. At the age of 15 (1975), my family moved to Gilroy and I have been here ever since.

I have 3 sons, Sean age 11, Steven age 8 and Jonathan age 7. I also have a step-daughter, Carisa age 22, step-son Manuel age 19 and two step-grandchildren, Devin age 5 and Alyssa age 1-1/2. And I can't forget my better half, Maria.

Occupation: Supervisor at Bonfante Gardens

Experience: Former Gilroy Paid-Call Firefighter;

Twice elected President of the Paid- Call Firefighter's Association;
Temporary 911 dispatcher for the City
of Gilroy;
Helped develop Gilroy Police Department's
Citizen's Police Academy & the VIP
(Volunteers In Policing) Program;
National Guard, Two years on active duty;
Paralegal.

Gavilan and Cabrillo College;
Santa Clara University School of Law,
Paralegal Program.

Civic Involvement: Past Little League and Pop Warner coach;

Volunteer with the March of Dimes,
Special Olympics, Garlic Festival.
